Employee training has never been so important in the food manufacturing industry with updated legislation and increasing competition making the competency and efficiency of staff a top priority for management.

The Food Technology Centre offers a wide range of high quality and industry-relevant training and services to the food manufacturing industry delivered by a team of staff with a wealth of qualifications, experience, skills and occupational competence in this field.

NVQs in Food Manufacture, Meat & Poultry Processing, Packaging and Cleaning & Support Services are delivered at numerous sites in the East Midlands by a team of assessors covering all shifts and days of the week right through the year.

Teaching staff deliver a wide range of food related courses from levels 2, 3 & 4 Food Safety to bespoke courses in Sensory Analysis and taster courses for schools. All training for companies is delivered at a time and place to suit the client.

The Food Technology Centre is also available for new product design, pilot runs and sensory panels either with the support of its staff or as a direct facilities rental and is purpose built to do so, including development kitchens, cookhouse, taste panel and processing hall.
